Dan Davis has been an entrepreneur since he was 12 when he started his first company. He saw the opportunity to create his own path and manage his own destiny and that excitement never died. He started his first scalable company as a senior in college called Sports Mechanix, then moved on to run a multi-million dollar film production company doing commercial projects and feature films all around the world. When feeling unfulfilled in commercial film, he made a drastic jump and took on the role of CEO of a newly acquired healthcare company in Arizona. Once again finding himself unfulfilled in the corporate world, he resigned, moved his family back to Utah and with no money, no job, and two little kids at home, he finally took time to discover his own story. As a result he started Stiry (‘stories that stir’), a video storytelling platform whose sole purpose is to help people discover their own story. Since 2016, Dan has Directed over 250 short films and documentaries around the world from billion dollar CEO’s stories, to the number one rock band in the world, and everyday people’s stories. Dan combined his personal story discovery process with the insights he gained from telling hundreds of people’s stories and created "This Is My Story", a 3-Step story discovery process. Copies have been sold in over 50 countries worldwide and his team has taken this process to individuals, nonprofits, and companies to help them craft their story and share it with the world through film. His philosophy is that every person or company can overcome any challenge through the power of uncovering their own story.
